A Good Friday it was.

Yesterday, I did a rideshare via craigslist and made it up to Steven's Pass. In doing so, I realized that living in Seattle now marks the first time I've lived by mountains worthy of making the trek to ski over a daytrip. It was a pretty sweet, albeit delayed, realization. Another thing I realized...the snow out here is HEAVY. So much for light powder. But, it's April, I am skiing, and with a 100" base...this is not a set of facts that I am willing to complain about.

wow, the mountains look so pristine. Like they have never felt the heavy hand of man.

MoCo,

Thanks for picking up on that...it was actually my intention to exclude any obvious human impact in this photo. Unfortunately, it did take me a few minutes to figure out an angle at which I could do this.
